Deans of Dishonesty is a realtime strategy (RTS) game where you, a dean at a university,
must get more cash now. It's about time for cash from the state government to flow down
to the university. You have realized that other departments are taking lots of cash.
This is when you have a great idea: overwork people in the other departments so they
quit. Your friends over in engineering have created plans for a work cannon. This is
when you have another great idea: shoot work at people in the other departments. Somehow,
the other departments learn of the plot. Let the work wars begin.
The game is currently in beta.

May 15, 2008:
After a long wait, DoD beta E is ready! The release fixes numerous bugs in the previous versions
and adds adaptive AI. This means that, instead of mindlessly going down a scripted list of things
to build, the AI figures out what would be best against you and builds it. In order to get the
new AI, which is much stronger, you'll have to set the difficulty to be "normal" or "hard". The
difficulty is on the lower left of the map select menu. Also, Burst Book Launchers now don't miss,
but they have a shorter range. A new map has also been added, and "aqua" has been changed.
June 30, 2007:
I have released version beta D, fixing a large number of bugs added in creation the last version.
June 27, 2007:
A new version has been released. It has fixes for many of the bugs in last version. All of the
random crashing problems have been solved, and the computer-controlled departments no longer team
up against you by default. The new version also includes three new maps.
April 2, 2006:
I'm currently taking a break from working on
Deans of Dishonesty. Current releases of the game are really bad because they are clickfests.
In the next release we will be adding research to make work cannon rushes harder. This should add
more strategic value to the game. We plan on releasing a new version sometime in the next few months.
It will not have very many maps but the gameplay will be much better.
