This blimp robot is a new version of the original Apis Mellifera. It has a custom PCB and is operated by a PIC chip. These refinements mean that the blimp's payload is much lighter and thus it only needs one blimp envelope. The blimp reads its five sharp GP2Y0A02YK IR sensors and uses them to avoid obstacles. To maintain a constant height, it follows the floor.
